Compensation will reflect experience and training.

Responsibilities for PMHNP-BC:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
• Create individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy using CBT and DBT techniques
• Manage and prescribe psychiatric medications
• Educate patients and families on mental health and medication
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Handle crisis intervention and patient stabilization
• Complete and lock EMR documentation within 48 hours

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
• Completed 3600 hours for independent practice or supervision agreement
• Licensed in NY as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Board certified and holds an active NY DEA license
